Information we process

We process company and staff names and email addresses; company profile and contact details; quote-recipient names, contact information and service addresses; project descriptions, options, prices and callouts; saved quote versions; delivery events; customer questions, option acceptance and staff replies. Authentication and hosting systems also process technical and security information such as IP addresses, request events and sign-in records.

How information is used

Information is used to provide quoting, staff authentication, private customer review, email delivery, subscription management, support and security. Companies decide which staff can access their workspace and what information to place in quotes. Quote recipients should contact the business that prepared their quote about project details and that business's use of their information.

Private review links

A quote has one private review URL. Anyone with that URL can access the shared quote and permitted actions until expiry or revocation. Explicitly sharing or sending a revision updates the same URL. Earlier questions, replies and recorded prices remain in history. Entering a name records what the link holder provides; it does not independently verify identity. Do not forward a link unless you intend to share access.

Service providers and sharing

Cloudflare provides hosting, database storage, staff access and technical logs. Resend processes quote and response-notification emails when configured. Stripe processes subscription payments when activated; MQuote stores billing identifiers and status, not full payment-card numbers. These providers process information under their own applicable terms and security controls. Information may also be disclosed as necessary to comply with law, protect the service or respond to your authorized request. We do not sell company quote data or use it for targeted advertising.

Storage and retention

Company workspaces use separate databases. Saved information persists independently of your browser. We retain information while needed to operate the service, provide requested access/export, support recovery, resolve disputes or meet applicable obligations. Cancellation does not automatically delete records. Removing an archived quote from workspace access preserves stored version and conversation history; it is not a complete data-erasure request. Backup and security records may remain after removal from active systems.

Your requests

Contact info@mquote.app to request access, correction, export, account closure or deletion, or to ask about applicable privacy rights. We verify the requester's authority before disclosing or deleting information and explain any retention that remains necessary. Quote recipients can also contact the company responsible for their quote; we may coordinate with that company to handle the request.

Cookies and security

Staff authentication uses an HTTP-only Cloudflare Access session cookie. Customer review tokens are sent in the URL fragment and authorization header. The application also uses browser storage for interface preferences and handling older drafts. The current marketing page has no added advertising tracker. We use access controls and other safeguards, but no system guarantees perfect security. Report suspected disclosure of a private link or account access promptly to support.

Updates

We may update this notice as the service changes. The effective date identifies this version. Material changes to how we use information will be communicated as appropriate. For service and billing terms, see our Terms of service.
